Pitch Feedback

After I presented my Pitch to the class they gave me some feedback.

Positive Fededback -
1. They all agreed that the name of the film was very good so we have decided to stick with the name.
2. They also agreed that the company name and logo souned and looked professional.
3. They thought that the plot is very good and interesting which would manage to grab the viewers attention.
4. They also liked the idea of a possible narrative opening as they think it could be very effective.

Negative Feedback -
1. The audience were not so sure whether we would be able to create the setting we were describing.
2. The audience also felt that there might be a struggle to find an older actor that would play our character.
3. The audience felt that we should look at one or two more RMAs so that we can decide on what to include in our final idea.
4. They also said that there may be a struggle to do an action genre as many of them have big budgets and are hard to re-create. However, not all of them start with a big piece of action which is why we think we can fulfill our brief.

After listening to feedback we have decided to make some changes to our idea:

  • We have decided to use a slightly younger character of about 21 years of age who has been kicked off of a secret agency due to rulebreaking rather than someone who is retired.
  • We have also managed to find a settign which we can use. I have a cellar which we can make look like the type of room that we had in mind and I will post a picture of it on my potential test shots/locations post.
